Striving for Balance
March 28, 2021
3/28/21 Sunday Service
Title: Encounters: Striving for Balance
Text: Luke 10:38-42
In our sermon today, we will be looking at the account of Mary and Martha in their home. We will see that Martha was not only doing what she was doing, but that she was focused on what Mary was doing. The gospel is the most important mission of the church, we must not lose focus on the purpose behind the events that are put on. No matter how long that we serve, we must remain teachable. Proper discipleship is about listening to God and doing what He calls us to do, not what we may want to do. Let us seek to be balanced men and women of faith.
