12/6/20 Sunday service
Title: Emmanuel’s Entrance
Text: Matthew 1:18-25
In our sermon today we will be looking at Jesus’ birth being foretold to Mary and Joseph. We will see that they angel came to Mary and told her that she would give birth to a baby even though she was a virgin. Since Mary and Joseph were betrothed which in essence meant that they would call each other husband and wife. An angel came to and tells him not to divorce Mary and to name the baby she will give birth to Emmanuel. Joseph was humble enough to act and react to the angel correctly. We will see that like Mary and Joseph, we don’t have to understand everything to worship and respond to the gospel. We should respond through worship, salvation, and following Jesus.
