Cultivating Gratitude
November 22, 2020
11/22/20 Sunday service
Title: Cultivating Gratitude
Text: Philippians 4:4-9
In our sermon today we will be looking at cultivating gratitude in our lives. As we approach Thanksgiving for 2020, it is important that we find ways to be grateful. Paul wrote the letter to the church at Philippi while he was prison. We would see from our passage that we should always have a pattern of rejoicing in our lives. As the day of the Lord is drawing closer, we as Christians should be known for our reasonableness and our gentleness. We see that we are commanded to not be anxious for anything that is happening in our lives. We should pray, have humility and gratitude and that will give us peace know that God is in control of everything that is going on in our lives. We should think positively and focus on the best characteristics of life. We should learn and practice what we have learned from our mentors. How do you cultivate an attitude of gratitude in your life? We should be constantly seeking for ways to be grateful.
