Following Christ’s Humble Example
December 27, 2020
12/27/20 Sunday Service
Title: Christ’s Example of Humility
Text: Philippians 2:1-11
In our sermon today, we look at how Christian’s should follow Christ’s example of humility. We will see that there are blessings that come from being a part of the Christian community and ways that we can be a blessing to others. As Christians we see that when we work together, we complete the joy of being a Christian. Christians should also have the same mind as Christ. We will see that we should ask what would Jesus do and allow that to guide us as we make decisions. Christians should also have the same love as Jesus. Jesus went where people where and loved them no matter what they had done. He went to people and surrounded Himself with those that other religious leaders of His day would not. We will then see that Christ humble came down to earth and that He willingly went to the cross to die so that we can spent eternity in heaven.
